Benchmarking analysis:the comparables behind your price.

Benchmarking compares your Indian entity's results with independent companies doing similar work, to set and defend the arm's length price. The search, the filters and every rejected company are tested in an assessment. We run searches that are clear, consistent and defensible.

What we benchmark.

Services

Margins for IT, back-office, engineering and R&D centres.

Loans and guarantees

Interest rates and guarantee fees with UK group companies.

Royalties and fees

Rates for brands, technology and management services.

Safe harbour as an alternative.

Under the safe harbour changes announced in Budget 2026, eligible IT, IT-enabled, knowledge process and contract software R&D services can opt for a 15.5% margin on cost under the safe harbour rules, for transactions up to ₹2,000 crore, and keep it for up to five years. That removes the benchmarking debate, but the margin may be higher than your own benchmark. We compare both.
