TAN registration:for anyone deducting tax.

A Tax Deduction and Collection Account Number (TAN) is needed by anyone who deducts or collects tax in India: companies paying salaries, rent or fees, and many others. Some individuals are spared and use their PAN instead, including, since 1 October 2026, individuals buying property from NRIs. We apply and set up TDS.
