Trust and NGO audits, for donors who need assurance.

Charitable trusts and NGOs in India must have their accounts audited to keep their tax exemption, and many need further audits under state trust laws and FCRA if they receive money from abroad. We audit trusts and NGOs, including partners of UK charities and donors, and file the reports on time.

For UK charities and donors.

An Indian NGO can only receive foreign money, including grants from UK charities and donations from people in the UK, if it is registered under FCRA or has prior permission. Foreign funds must go into the designated FCRA account at the specified bank branch.

UK charities funding overseas partners are expected to carry out due diligence and monitor how funds are used. Independent audits and utilisation certificates from India give them the evidence they need.
