Chartered Accountants in India, working with clients across the UK

About NDSA UK
About our firm

Accountants in India, for life in the UK.

We are a firm of Chartered Accountants in India. We look after the Indian tax, accounting and regulatory side of life for Indians living in the UK, and for businesses that work across both countries, and we keep it in step with what you report to HMRC.

Who we are

One team for the India side of your UK life.

We take care of the India side of your finances from India, and make sure it lines up with what you report to HMRC.Our approach for every UK client

Millions of people in Britain still have part of their financial life in India. A flat in Pune, a family home in Ahmedabad, an NRO account that earns interest, shares and mutual funds, a parent's estate, or an Indian company that needs looking after. Each of these comes with Indian tax returns, TDS, FEMA rules and filings that have to be done correctly in India, usually without the person ever setting foot in an Indian tax office.

That is the work we do. As Chartered Accountants based in India, we handle the Indian side end to end: residential status, income tax returns, capital gains on property sales, lower TDS certificates, Form 145 and Form 146 for moving money abroad, company and GST compliance, and replies to Indian tax notices.

We also understand what happens on the UK side. Since the UK ended the remittance basis in April 2025, most UK residents report their Indian income to HMRC every year. So we prepare the Indian figures, certificates and computations in a form your UK accountant can use directly for your Self Assessment and foreign tax credit relief.

No. We handle Indian tax, FEMA and company work. Your UK Self Assessment, corporation tax and HMRC matters stay with your UK accountant or tax adviser, and we give them the Indian figures and certificates they need.
Usually not. Most work is done online with digital signatures. A few tasks, such as registering a property sale, may need you to sign in India or through a person you appoint with a power of attorney.
After the first call we send an encrypted, password-protected upload link. Please don't email PAN, Aadhaar, passport or bank account numbers as plain attachments. We don't share client information with third parties without your approval.
Yes. With your permission we'll email or join a call with your UK accountant, so the Indian income, tax paid and capital gains workings land correctly on your UK return.
After the first conversation we send a written scope with the work, documents, timeline and fee. Nothing starts until you approve it, so there are no surprise invoices.

Let's take care of the India side together.
