Why UK law makes this urgent.

Under the UK Bribery Act 2010, a UK company can be liable for failing to prevent bribery by people acting on its behalf, including overseas. Since 1 September 2025, the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 has added a failure to prevent fraud offence for large organisations, which can extend to fraud by associated persons such as subsidiaries and agents where there is a UK link.

Both offences have a defence of reasonable or adequate prevention procedures. A properly run investigation, and the control improvements that follow, are part of showing those procedures exist.

Forensic audit FAQs.

An examination of financial records and evidence to establish what happened, usually where fraud or wrongdoing is suspected, with findings that can be used in legal or disciplinary action.
Usually within days of agreeing the scope. Preserving evidence early matters.
Yes. We work discreetly with a small group you name, and with your lawyers where legal privilege is needed.
It can. The Bribery Act and the failure to prevent fraud offence can reach conduct by overseas associated persons where there is a UK link.
We follow careful evidence-handling procedures and write factual reports suitable for boards, insurers, lawyers and courts.
