Business Process Reengineering

Business process reengineering, from the ground up.

Sometimes a process cannot be fixed by tweaking it. Business process reengineering starts from the outcome you need and redesigns the work, systems and controls to get there. We redesign finance and operations processes in Indian entities of UK companies, so they are faster, cheaper and better controlled.

When reengineering makes sense.

Speed

Processes that take too long

Month-end close, vendor payments or customer billing that drag on.

Errors

Repeated mistakes

Rework, corrections and audit findings in the same areas.

Growth

The business has outgrown the process

Volumes have grown but the process has not changed.

Systems

A new ERP or automation

A system change is the moment to redesign, not to copy old habits.

Business process reengineering FAQs.

A fundamental redesign of how a process works, starting from the outcome needed, rather than small improvements to the existing process.
SOPs document how a process should run. BPR first redesigns the process itself, then documents it.
Not always. Many gains come from removing steps and clarifying ownership, though BPR often goes hand in hand with ERP changes or automation.
It depends on the process. A single process for one entity often takes a few weeks to design and a few more to roll out.

Processes that no longer fit the business?
